Laura Antoniou is the author of the well known Marketplace series of erotic novels. Her work has been translated into Spanish, German, Hebrew, Japanese and Korean. Many examples of her short fiction, articles, essays and rants can be found in the collection titled The Catalyst and Other Tales.

In 2011, Laura won the prestigious John Preston Short Fiction Award from the National Leather Association, for her short story, “That’s Harsh,” which appears in the e-book edition of The Slave and in 2012, she won the award again for her story, “The Man With The Phoenix Tattoo,” which appears in the Lambda Literary Award-winning anthology, Take Me There: Trans and Genderqueer Erotica. In 2013, Laura published her first mystery, The Killer Wore Leather, a murder mystery that takes place at a leather contest.

Laura lives in Queens, NY with her wife Karen, and happily serves as boy to Kim Attica. Friends have called her all sorts of names.  Current favorites are “Renaissance Perv” by Midori, “Good Boy!” by Kim and of course, “best thing that ever happened to me” by Karen.
