Simon Sheppard is the author of four previous collections of short fiction: Jockboys; Sodomy!; In Deep; and Hotter Than Hell and Other Stories, which won the Erotic Authors Association Award. His first novel, The Dirty Boys’ Club: The Soap Opera Murders, was published in 2012.

His non-fiction books include Kinkorama: Dispatches From the Front Lines of Perversion and Sex Parties 101. He edited Homosex: Sixty Years of Gay Erotica, which won the Lambda Literary Award, and the anthology Leathermen, and co-edited Rough Stuff and Roughed Up.

His work has also appeared in well over 300 anthologies, and he’s written the syndicated column “Sex Talk,” and the online columns “Perv” and “Notes of a Cranky Old Fag.”

He lives in San Francisco, where he curates the performance series “Perverts Put Out!” and can be found online at www.simonsheppard.com.
